Fighting For You

The Law can be a scary thing; you need a Monster in your court.

I am devoted to fighting for you and will give you the attention as though you were my only client.  My experience and drive will serve you throughout your case and sets me apart from other attorneys.  I am a former Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn, New York. Prior to that, I was an attorney at a large class-action plaintiff firm in New York City.  I have the skill, experience, and tenacity to fight for you.   Not only do my clients recognize my ability, but my peers do as well: I have been recognized by Super Lawyers for exhibiting excellence in the practice of Criminal Defense for 2017 and 2018.

Robert Frost stated:

“A Jury consists of twelve persons chosen to decide who has the better lawyer”

You need to have that “better lawyer.”  You need someone who knows how to pick those jurors whether on a criminal or civil case; someone who will give you his all, every time.  I believe this is true in all legal matters. I firmly believe there is no greater calling than protecting the rights of others.  As a former ADA, I spent almost as much time fighting to dismiss wrongful arrests and unlawful searches as I did prosecuting cases.

Unlike many other lawyers, I have actually gone to trial and I love it.  This simple distinction makes a world of difference in the court room and at the negotiating table.  I have successfully conducted multiple jury trials.  I will fight for you in every possible way: in State or Federal Court; Criminal or Civil Court. I will give you my all.  You will feel the monster in the courtroom.  My experience as a Prosecutor translates into someone who values justice and the importance of a zealous advocate.  At my very essence, I am a trial attorney. I know the courtroom and it is a second home to me.  I know the system and I believe that the only way to win is to fight with all you have.

When you retain me, you have my undivided attention.  I am an honest and direct attorney who will guide you through your case.  I am a born and bred New Yorker who loves our great city and values our tenacity.

As a former prosecutor, I fully understand the power law enforcement has. As a trial attorney, I know the law seems very scary.
